April 2022 Cerner Integration Changes
timestamp1650060473513
On April 23, 2022 the following changes will be made to the Cerner integration:
Issue updating appointment links
In some situations like when a non-Cerner scheduler is used for scheduling video visit appointments, the Zoom meetings links are not able to be added to the appointment. This issue is now fixed
Not able to change Zoom account
Once the Cerner integration is configured with the Base URL of the customer’s Cerner environment, the Zoom account linked to that Cerner environment cannot be changed. This issue is fixed such that the most recent Zoom account to configure the Cerner Base URL will be the account that is linked to the Cerner environment.
Send patient email without meeting links
A new option is available to not include the Zoom meeting links in the initial appointment email sent to patients. The reminder email (if enabled) will still contain the Zoom meeting links.

New email address options
Customers now have options for sending patient emails:

“Patient Email” (default) - appointment email will be sent to the patient’s email address as setup in their Cerner patient record.
“Test Email” - appointment email will always be sent to the email addressed specified.
“Do not send email” - no appointment emails will be be sent to patients.
