The following Microsoft Teams integration changes were deployed on August 27, 2022:

Enhancements to “Start a Meeting” from the Zoom Bot Meetings Tab and Zoom Message Extension:

Previously the process for starting a meeting was to click the “Start a Meeting” button, enter the participant’s name, and click the ‘Save’ button. The invited participants would then receive a start meeting card . The start meeting process has now been changed as follows.

Only after the host enters the meeting … 

will the invited users receive the start meeting card:

When the host ends the meeting, the participants will see the meeting ended status in the meeting card.
