On 12/11/2021 the following changes will be made to the Epic FHIR integration which is currently in beta:

(1) Fixed issue when users launch a video visit while a previous launch is in progress

If users attempt to launch a video visit meeting while a previous launch is still in progress (e.g. by initiating a launch in Hyperspace immediately after an initial launch), issues may occur including the patient and provider going into different meetings. This issue has now been fixed by preventing a 2nd video visit launch while a previous launch is still in progress. When this occurs, the following message will be displayed in the browser:

(2) Fixed issue where the patient’s name is displayed as the meeting host

Previously, if a patient joined a meeting before a provider, the patient name would be displayed in the Zoom client as the meeting host. With this release, the provider will always be the meeting host, regardless of when he or she joins the meeting.
